Central Highlands Toyota is a proud, customer-focused dealership serving the Central Highlands region. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Parts Interpreter / Store Person to join our Parts Department on a full-time basis.

About the Role
As a Parts Interpreter / Store Person, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of our Parts Department. Working closely with customers, workshop technicians, and the wider dealership team, you will assist with identifying and supplying automotive parts, managing inventory, and maintaining an organised warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and process incoming stock deliveries
- Pick and pack parts accurately for customers and workshop technicians
- Interpret customer and technician parts requirements using manufacturer catalogues and systems
- Identify, source, and quote parts accurately and efficiently
- Process parts sales, orders, and customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
- Maintain inventory accuracy and stock control procedures
- Organise and maintain warehouse and storage areas
- Assist with stocktakes and inventory management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
- Ensure workplace health and safety standards are maintained
- Assist with general warehouse and stores duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer literacy
- A current driver's licence
- The ability to learn parts interpretation systems and product knowledge
- Previous warehouse, stores, automotive parts, or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
- Experience as a Parts Interpreter (highly regarded but not essential)
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
