Service Manager

About the Role

Central Highlands Toyota Emerald are seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Support with relocation expenses considered for the right candidate.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day service operations, driving performance, and fostering a high‑performing and engaged team environment.

Working closely with dealership leadership team, you will play a key role in service profitability, guest satisfaction, and compliance with Toyota standards in a busy regional dealership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage the service department, including advisors, technicians, apprentices and support staff
• Drive service performance, efficiency, and profitability through effective planning and leadership
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences from booking through to vehicle collection
• Maintain compliance with Toyota policies, processes, and manufacturer standards
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and performance reporting
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve individual and departmental goals
• Work collaboratively with Parts, Sales, and dealership leadership teams
• Maintain a safe, organised, and professional service environment

Skills & Experience

• Prior experience as a Service Manager highly regarded, however, we're also happy to consider  Assistant Managers or Service Supervisors with mechanical background.
• Strong understanding of service operations, workshop management, and manufacturer standards
• Toyota experience highly regarded but not essential
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with a focus on results
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage targets, budgets, and compliance requirements
• Current driver’s licence
