We have an exciting opportunity for an early career HR Business Partner to join our established Victoria & Tasmania Regional HR Team for a fixed term of 18 months. Nationally, as part of our broader HR team, we are kicking off a journey of HR transformation - so it's an exciting and pivotal time to join us. 

 

In this position, you'll be based at our office in South Melbourne (with flexible locations across your week), reporting to the Vic/Tas Regional HR Manager and sitting with a close-knit and experienced team. We are friendly and collaborative, and we will be there to support you with understanding the automotive industry and the complexities of our business. 

 

This role provides many and varied opportunities for your professional growth and development! You will be partnering with your own portfolio of clients, providing day to day support across the full employee lifecycle - think Recruitment & Onboarding, Performance Management, Employee Relations case management, and a variety of projects across Engagement & Culture, Learning, Systems (SAP Success Factors is our new HRIS) and Compliance. You will support our leaders to promote the Eagers Automotive Values and provide best practice human resources solutions enabling the business to build organisational capability, exceptional leadership and high performing teams. 

 

 

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has: 

 

  • Solid background as a HR Advisor or early career HRBP with generalist experience in large and complex organisations 

  • Solid exposure to Australian ER/IR frameworks, or interested to get it 

  • SAP Success Factors  

  • Relevant or related tertiary qualifications 

 

 

You should also be a genuine people person with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders; a resilient operator with a thick skin on some days; and someone who wants to contribute and get involved. 

 

As with any true partnering opportunity, you will be working closely with your client group with regular visits, meetings and conducting training at their sites; so this will suit someone who wants to get out and about and not sit behind their desk.
