As part of our 2027 Apprentice Intake, Webster Trucks is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Diesel Technician to join our workshop team in Derwent Park.
This is an outstanding opportunity to begin your career in the heavy vehicle industry, gaining hands-on experience while completing your AUR31120 Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and receive structured support throughout your apprenticeship journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a range of heavy vehicles
- Learn to use diagnostic tools, specialised equipment, and OEM software
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Follow workshop processes and manufacturer guidelines
- Collaborate with your team to meet service and delivery deadlines
Skills & Attributes
- A genuine interest in heavy vehicle mechanics and the transport industry
- Strong willingness to learn and develop practical trade skills
- Good attention to detail with a strong safety focus
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player
- A current driver’s licence (or working towards obtaining one)
