The Opportunity:


We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer focused Administration Officer to join our Derwent Park dealership.


The role whilst repetitive, is crucial in supporting the day to day operations of the Isuzu Sales department and ensuring smooth administrative processes are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception Management: Handle front of desk duties, including answering calls and welcoming clients.
  • Sales Documentation: Prepare and process deal packs, ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Compliance Coordination: Manage vehicle registrations and associated compliance paperwork.
  • Financial Support: Assist with invoicing, account payable / receivable, and various other data entry tasks as needed.  
  • Sales Team Assistance: Support scheduling, customer follow ups and general administrative needs.
  • Office Management: Maintain office supplies and ensure / maintain a well organised workspace.
  • Event Coordination: Assist as directed to organise sales events, including local and interstate travel as required.  
  • Audit Support: Assist with dealership and manufacturer audit processes.

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Organisation & time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Administrative Experience: Previous experiencer in administration; automotive or dealership background preferred.
  • Communication & Presentation: Strong Verbal and written communication skills with professional presentation skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in processing and managing information.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid computer literacy across common business systems
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and key industry partners.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high level of customer satisfaction
  • Licensing: Current driver’s licence.

 

Desirable:

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Truck / Automotive industry is an advantage.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft office skills would be an advantage.
  • Marketing & Creativity: Creative flair with skills in Marketing and, or social media skills
  • Licensing: Truck licence (advantageous but not essential)

  • You are highly organised, detail orientated and confident in your ability to communicate with both colleagues and customers.
  • You can manage multiple tasks efficiently, follow processes accurately , and adapt quickly to new systems.
  • Having a proactive team focused approach, combined with a strong willingness to learn will help you thrive in this role.
  • Previous experience in vehicle administration or costing would be highly regarded.
