Accountant

Eagers Automotive is currently seeking a motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team at Motors and Webster Trucks

About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller (FC), the successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day accounting requirements in a professional and efficient manner and be hands-on in regard to dealership management.

Duties will include:

• Reconciliation of Bank Statement and Balance sheet accounts
• Assist with month-end processes, including P&L reviews and variance analysis
• Resolution of financial queries from management
• Monthly financial reporting and manufacturer reporting
• Management of Fixed Asset Register ensuring adherence to Capex Policies
• Assist with budgets, Year-end process, audits and other compliance activities
• Assist the FC with the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department

Skills & Experience

If you are someone who has great attention to detail, is highly motivated, and has the ability to prioritise work accordingly – we want to hear from you!

You would ideally possess:

• Exceptional communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Accounting Degree
• CPA/CA qualified or working towards
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Experience using Pentana ERA will be highly regarded but not essential
• Enjoy working as part of a team
