Technician

Coffey Ford is seeking a qualified and motivated Automotive Technician to join our high-performing workshop team. This full-time, hands-on role involves servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs across a range of Ford vehicles in a busy dealership environment.

What you will be doing:

• Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics
• Carry out vehicle inspections, warranty work, and manufacturer repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
• Accurately record work completed and parts used
• Work closely with service and parts teams to maintain workflow efficiency
• Support apprentices and junior technicians where required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Follow manufacturer standards and dealership processes

What you need:

• Trade qualified Automotive Technician (Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
• Previous dealership experience highly regarded
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Team-focused attitude and strong work ethic
• Current driver's licence and Australian working rights
