Technician

Coffey Ford Dandenong is seeking a qualified and motivated Technician to join our high-performing workshop team. This full-time, hands-on role involves servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs across a range of Ford vehicles in a busy dealership environment.

Working alongside an experienced and supportive workshop team, this opportunity is ideal for a technician looking for stable work, ongoing development, and the chance to grow their career within a professional dealership.

What you will be doing:

• Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics
• Carry out vehicle inspections, warranty work, and manufacturer repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
• Accurately record work completed and parts used
• Work closely with the service and parts departments to ensure workflow efficiency
• Support workshop team members and apprentices where required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

What you need:

• Trade qualified Automotive Technician (Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
• Previous dealership experience highly regarded
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop
• High attention to detail and safety-first mindset
• Team-focused attitude with strong work ethic
• Current driver’s licence and Australian working rights
