Technician

Coffey Ford are looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join our service department. This full time, hands on, workshop-based role involves servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicles. Joining a dedicated team, his opportunity is ideal for a technician who wants steady, secure work in a professional, growth driven environment.

What you will be doing:

• Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs and diagnostics
• Carry out vehicle inspections, roadworthy and warranty work
• Use dealership diagnostic equipment to identify and fix faults
• Accurately record all work completed and parts used
• Work closely with the service and parts teams to keep jobs moving
• Working in a collaborative team, supporting technicians and apprentices

What you need:
·         Trade qualified (Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
·         Dealership or manufacturer training is a bonus
·         Confident with diagnostics and fault finding
·         Willingness to learning and working on variety of car makes and models
·         Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset
·         Current driver’s licence
·         Australian working rights
