Service Advisor

Prestige Truck Centre Tasmania is seeking a customer-focused and organised Service Advisor to join our busy aftersales team. Acting as the key link between our customers and workshop, this role plays an important part in delivering an exceptional service experience while ensuring repairs and maintenance are managed efficiently from booking through to completion.

Working closely with Technicians, Parts Interpreters, and customers, this opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.

What you will be doing:

• Welcome customers and manage service enquiries both in person and over the phone
• Coordinate vehicle bookings, repairs, and maintenance requirements
• Prepare repair orders and accurately document customer concerns
• Liaise with Technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics and repair progress
• Provide customers with updates, recommendations, and cost estimates
• Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department
• Process service invoices and explain completed work to customers
• Maintain accurate records and ensure a smooth customer journey from drop-off to collection
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every interaction

What you need:

• Previous experience in a Service Advisor, customer service, or automotive role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
• Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
• Strong computer and administration skills
• Experience in a truck, transport, or heavy vehicle environment highly regarded
• Current driver's licence and Australian working rights
