Service Advisor

We are seeking a customer-focused and highly organised Service Advisor to join the team at BYD Dandenong. As the key link between our customers and service department, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional ownership experience while supporting the growth of one of the automotive industry's most exciting and innovative brands.

Working closely with the Service Manager and workshop team, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, coordinating service bookings, and ensuring a seamless service experience from vehicle drop-off through to collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and managing service enquiries
• Coordinating vehicle service and repair bookings
• Preparing repair orders and maintaining accurate customer records
• Providing clear communication regarding vehicle servicing requirements and associated costs
• Liaising with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely customer updates
• Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the service process
• Identifying and presenting additional service and maintenance recommendations
• Managing customer follow-up and ensuring satisfaction after service visits
• Ensuring compliance with dealership processes and manufacturer standards

About You

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry (highly regarded)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional presentation and a customer-first approach
• Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
• Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office (preferred)
• Current driver's licence required
