Accessories Fitter

About the Role

Dalby Pre‑Delivery Centre are seeking a reliable and hands‑on Accessories Fitter to join our pre‑delivery operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting a wide range of accessories to vehicles prior to dealership delivery, ensuring all work is completed accurately, safely, and to specification.

This is a key role supporting vehicle preparation and delivery schedules across the network.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Fit accessories such as tow bars, bull bars, roof racks, side steps, trays, canopies, and other vehicle accessories
• Follow manufacturer requirements and internal pre‑delivery procedures
• Ensure all accessory fitments meet quality and safety standards
• Identify and report any issues or defects prior to vehicle release
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Work closely with technicians, yard staff, and logistics teams to meet delivery timelines

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as an Accessories Fitter or in a similar mechanical or hands‑on workshop role (desirable)
• Electrical/ wiring experience (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Safety‑focused with a proactive approach to quality
• Current driver’s licence
