BYD Delivery Operations Manager

BYD is seeking an experienced and highly organised Delivery Operations Manager to lead our vehicle delivery operations based in Braeside, Melbourne. This role plays a critical part in ensuring every customer receives an exceptional delivery experience while overseeing the end-to-end coordination of vehicle handovers across a rapidly growing network.

As part of one of the world's most innovative automotive brands, you will lead a team responsible for managing vehicle delivery scheduling, customer communication, operational processes, and on-site handovers. What you will be doing:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the BYD Delivery Centre
• Oversee a team of Delivery Coordinators and Delivery Consultants
• Ensure vehicle deliveries are scheduled, prepared, and completed efficiently
• Monitor delivery volumes, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction outcomes
• Develop and improve delivery processes to support business growth
• Work closely with sales, stock control, pre-delivery, transport, and customer experience teams
• Ensure all delivery documentation is accurate and completed on time
• Manage customer escalations and support the resolution of delivery-related enquiries
• Maintain high standards across vehicle presentation, customer experience, and operational compliance
• Drive a culture focused on customer service, accountability, and continuous improvement

What you need:

• Previous leadership experience in automotive operations, customer delivery, logistics, dealership management, or a similar environment
• Strong people management and team development skills
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and process-driven mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Current driver's licence and Australian working rights
