We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in Fremantle.

THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED AT A BRAND-NEW DEALERSHIP OPENING IN JUNE/ JULY 2025 – BYD Fremantle!

Initial onboarding and training will take place at BYD Cannington.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

• A genuine, friendly, and authentic individual with a passion for excellent customer service
• Present yourself professionally (both in attitude and attire)
• Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all departments
• Listen to understand and be responsive to customers’ needs
• Know and understand the sales process including the value of each step
• Be agile and flexible to change - things move pretty quickly around here!

About you:

Do you have well-established communication skills? Are you customer-focused and always go the extra mile? Do you have a passion for the automotive industry and love the thrill of sales? If the answers are YES, YES and YES – we are looking for you!

You will ideally possess:

• Prior experience in automotive sales (highly regarded but not essential)
• Interest and passion for the automotive and EV space
• Must be motivated and driven by results
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and KPI’s
• Ability to perform well in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Have or be willing to obtain a Motor Vehicle Sales Licence
• Valid Australian working rights and driver’s licence
• Bi-lingual in Mandarin/ Cantonese would be highly regarded
