About the Role

Total Nissan & BYD Cannington are seeking a qualified and reliable Automotive Technician to join our combined BYD & Nissan workshop. Working across two exciting and rapidly evolving brands, you’ll perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs while ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and exceeds guest expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostic troubleshooting
• Complete inspections, roadworthy tasks, and warranty repairs
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment across both BYD and Nissan platforms
• Accurately document all work in line with workshop processes
• Collaborate closely with the service and parts teams to deliver exceptional results

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
• Dealership or manufacturer training (BYD, Nissan, or similar) highly regarded
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to workshop safety
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Full Australian working rights
