About the Role 
Southside Volkswagen are seeking a qualified and reliable Advanced/Diagnostic Technician to join our service team. In this role, you’ll carry out mostly diagnostics, with some service and repairs, on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and delivers exceptional results for our guests. 

• Performing advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on Mitsubishi vehicles
• Identifying and resolving complex electrical and mechanical issues
• Using OEM diagnostic tools and software
• Carry out inspections and complete roadworthy or warranty work 
• Accurately document all work and follow workshop procedures 
• Work collaboratively with the service and parts departments 

Skills & Experience 

• Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) 
• Dealership or manufacturer training highly regarded 
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills 
• Willingness to learn other brands
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards 
• Current driver’s licence
