About the Role

Southside Volkswagen are seeking a professional, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy service team. This full-time front-of-house role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organised under pressure, and takes pride in being the key connection between our guests and workshop team.

 

As the first point of contact for service guests, you set the tone for their entire experience. From the moment they arrive to the time they drive away, your ability to listen, communicate clearly, and manage expectations plays a major role in building trust and long-term relationships. This role suits someone with strong interpersonal skills, sharp attention to detail, and the confidence to juggle competing priorities while keeping guests informed every step of the way.

 

What you will be doing:

· Greet guests and assist with service bookings and enquiries

· Prepare repair orders and clearly explain required work to customers

· Liaise with technicians to provide accurate updates on vehicle progress

· Maintain clear, timely communication throughout the service process

· Recommend additional servicing or maintenance where appropriate

· Ensure all work is authorised, completed to standard, and handed over smoothly

What You’ll bring to the role:

· Previous experience in a Service Advisor or customer service role (automotive preferred)

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise under pressure

· High level of professionalism and attention to detail

· Current driver’s licence

· Australian working rights
