Service Advisor

BYD Ipswich is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing Service & Parts team. As the key link between our customers and workshop, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional service experience while helping drive the success of one of the world's fastest-growing automotive brands.
Reporting directly to Service Manager Hope, who brings almost 8 years of experience with Eagers Automotive, you'll be joining a supportive and experienced team committed to customer satisfaction, professional development and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our service department. You'll coordinate vehicle servicing requirements, communicate with customers throughout the repair process and work closely with technicians to ensure a seamless customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with their servicing and maintenance requirements
• Accurately prepare repair orders and service bookings
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding vehicle progress
• Provide service recommendations and explain repair requirements
• Coordinate workflow between customers and workshop technicians
• Process invoices and vehicle handovers efficiently
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience at every touchpoint
• Assist in achieving service department performance targets

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional presentation and a positive attitude
• Intermediate computer skills
• Current driver's licence
