Ipswich Nissan is a well-established and trusted dealership committed to delivering exceptional vehicles and customer experiences. Due to continued growth and increased demand through our pre-delivery workshop, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Accessories Fitter to join our team.
Working alongside a supportive team, you'll play a key role in preparing new vehicles for delivery and ensuring every customer receives their vehicle to the highest standard.
About the Role
As an Accessories Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting a range of genuine and aftermarket accessories to new vehicles in our busy pre-delivery department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation of vehicle accessories including bull bars, tow bars, canopies, electric brake controllers, roof racks and lighting
- Completing pre-delivery accessory fitment work to manufacturer standards
- Maintaining high levels of workmanship and attention to detail
- Following workshop safety procedures and quality processes
- Working collaboratively with the pre-delivery and workshop teams
- Meeting productivity and customer delivery deadlines
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience fitting automotive accessories
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Current driver's licence
- Positive attitude and strong team focus
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Experience within automotive dealerships or pre-delivery departments will be highly regarded, however applicants with transferable mechanical or accessory fitting experience are encouraged to apply.
