Parts Interpreter

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team at BYD Brooklyn. In this role, you’ll support both our service team and customers by ensuring the accurate identification, sourcing, and supply of parts. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our workshop efficient and delivering the high level of service our customers expect.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interpreting and processing parts requirements for internal and external customers

• Ordering, sourcing, and coordinating supply of parts

• Maintaining inventory accuracy, including stock control and audits

• Building strong relationships with technicians, suppliers, and customers

• Providing friendly, professional service at all times

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter in the automotive industry

• Strong product and parts knowledge (EV experience advantageous)

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Good computer literacy and accuracy in data entry

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

• A current driver’s licence
