Yard Person

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hands‑on Yard Person to support day‑to‑day vehicle movements and yard operations within our high‑volume pre‑delivery facility.

This role is essential to ensuring vehicles are moved, staged, and prepared efficiently to support pre‑delivery and logistics requirements.

This position suits someone who enjoys physical, practical work and takes pride in maintaining an organised and safe yard environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Move and park vehicles safely around the pre‑delivery facility
• Organise yard and vehicle holding areas to support operational flow
• Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any issues or damage
• Assist with vehicle loading, unloading, and internal transfers
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of yard and external areas
• Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines at all times
• Work closely with pre‑delivery, detailing, and logistics teams

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a yard, logistics, transport, or hands‑on automotive role highly regarded
• Comfortable working outdoors and around vehicles
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Good time‑management skills and a strong work ethic
• Current driver’s licence (manual licence highly regarded)
