Stock Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑driven Stock Controller to manage vehicle stock across our Queensland BYD dealership network. This role is critical to ensuring vehicle inventory is accurately recorded, tracked, and reconciled, supporting smooth sales, delivery, and reporting outcomes across multiple sites.

Working within a centralised shared services model, you will collaborate closely with sales, delivery, finance, and logistics teams to maintain accurate stock records and support operational efficiency.

This role is based at the BYD Delivery Centre in Eagle Farm.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and maintain accurate vehicle stock records across multiple BYD dealerships
• Ensure timely receipting, despatch, and reconciliation of vehicle stock
• Monitor stock movements, transfers, and adjustments across systems
• Liaise with dealerships, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders regarding stock status
• Support vehicle allocations, sales processing, and delivery coordination
• Assist with reporting, audits, and stock-related compliance requirements
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
• Contribute to continuous improvement of stock control processes

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or automotive administration highly regarded
• High attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Confident using dealership systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work collaboratively in a shared services environment
• Automotive or dealership experience preferred but not essential
• Current driver’s licence
