Quality Control Officer

We are looking for a motivated and professional Quality Control Officer to join our team at our well established BYD Delivery Centre Eagle farm.

This crucial role is vital to our success and customer retention. Each day you will be required to deliver an exceptional customer experience, with a high level of quality control.

As a Quality Control Officer your duties will include:

• Conduct a quality control check of all vehicles ready for delivery

• Final check of the presentation of the vehicles prior to collection

• Sign off on quality control documentation

• Keep up to date with mandatory factory training

• Adhering to checklists and strict quality control standards

• Ensuring that all services and repairs conform to Company and Manufacturer standards

• Working alongside a busy workshop to ensure an efficient, first-class quality process

• Keeping detailers accountable for quality of work

• Ensure all warranty procedures have been adhered to

• Preparation of vehicles for Guest handover

• Detailing and minor reconditioning of vehicles ready for sale

• Washing yard vehicles

• Assisting with general duties when required

The ideal candidate will possess: 

• Experience as a fully qualified Automotive Technician will be advantageous

• Technical knowledge and an understanding of dealership processes

• Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency

• Attention to detail and a focus on overseeing and maintaining high standards of quality

• Good computer skills

• A positive “can do” attitude and good presentation

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Must have a full manual driver’s license

• Maintain a high level of integrity & professionalism
