We’re on the lookout for a special-sort, someone rare and brilliant in their own right. Someone who thrives on solving problems, adores systems, and quietly keeps the HR world turning without needing the spotlight.

 

You might be an HR Advisor who’s tired of being on the frontline but still wants to make a difference, just behind the scenes. You love answering curly questions, fixing those “the system won’t let me” cries for help, and making sure things are done right the first time.

But this isn’t just about systems. As we move toward more centralised, supported recruitment, we also need someone who knows how to recruit and do it well. That means confidently guiding managers on search strategies, crafting ads that nail the brief (especially when there’s an OEM brand to align with), and pulling together offers that meet our HR frameworks. You’ll also have the chance to support bulk campaigns and bring fresh energy to our employer brand. 

 

If you:
✅ Know your way around modern awards and compliance
✅ Have experience with SuccessFactors (especially EC and Recruitment modules)
✅ Are patient, calm, and can talk someone down from a payroll panic
✅ Love complex environments with lots of moving pieces
✅ Don’t mind a little ambiguity and maybe even enjoy it
✅ Are comfortable with a ticketing system
✅ Have a sharp eye for recruitment and can write a killer job ad
✅ Aren’t afraid to pick up the phone and guide a manager through the process
✅ Have experience in the automotive world (huge tick)

The work you'll be doing

  • Responding to employee and manager queries via phone, tickets, and email

  • Interpreting awards and policies with a compliance-first mindset

  • Troubleshooting issues with systems and processes (especially SuccessFactors)

  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes behind the scenes

  • Helping managers navigate sourcing strategies and recruitment decisions

  • Writing job ads that actually work — clear, aligned and engaging

  • Pulling together employment offers that meet strict HR frameworks

  • Supporting recruitment campaigns and contributing to our employer brand

  • Escalating where needed but owning what you can

  • Being the calm in someone’s storm

Hours and flexibility

This is a full-time role and we run a fairly regular roster covering 7am to 7pm, shifts look like 7am-3pm, 9am to 5pm or 11am to 7pm- usually a mix of all three. There are 1-2 days WFH per week as an option, plus we are pretty reasonable with flexibility so happy to chat about what works for you.
