Norris Motor Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Detailer Supervisor to lead our vehicle detailing operations at our Brendale dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering exceptional vehicle presentation standards and enjoys developing and motivating a team.

About the Role

As the Detailer Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the detailing department, ensuring all new, used, and customer vehicles are prepared and presented to the highest standards. You will coordinate workflow, maintain quality control, and support your team to achieve operational targets and deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of vehicle detailers.
  • Allocate daily workloads and manage departmental productivity.
  • Ensure all vehicles are cleaned, detailed, and prepared to dealership standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections before vehicle delivery.
  • Coordinate vehicle preparation schedules with sales and service departments.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members.
  • Maintain detailing equipment and ensure safe work practices.
  • Manage stock levels of cleaning products and detailing supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Assist with hands-on detailing work when required.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in automotive detailing, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Knowledge of vehicle care products, detailing techniques, and equipment.
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
