As an Accessory Fitter, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Completing fitting and maintenance as per the repair order within the allocated time
  • Plan each job for maximum efficiency and order parts where necessary/when required
  • Follow correct procedures when carrying out work 
  • Be responsible for the care and use of all tools and equipment
  • Complete all paperwork correctly with all details regarding works carried out after completion of each job 
  • Return vehicles in a clean condition after work by removing all plastic, tools and rags from vehicle on completion, use guard covers, seat covers and floor mats at all times
  • Maintain workbench and bay areas in a clean, safe, orderly and attractive state

 

About You

 

  • Current drivers Licence
  • Trade qualification preffered, not mandatory

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operation and ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Extensive knowledge of the Retail Motor Industry and prior experience in a retail franchise preferred

 

Professional Skills / Technical Skills / Competencies

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Effective time management and organisational skills; ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Proactive, team player with solid problem solving and analytical skills
