Stock Controller

About the Role

Aspley GMSV are seeking an organised and detail‑focused Stock Controller to oversee vehicle inventory and ensure accurate stock management across the dealership. This role plays a key part in supporting sales, delivery, and reporting processes by maintaining up‑to‑date and accurate vehicle records.

You will work closely with sales, service, delivery, and administration teams to manage vehicle movements and ensure systems reflect current stock status.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain accurate vehicle stock records across dealership systems
• Manage vehicle receipting, transfers, and stock movements
• Monitor and reconcile stock discrepancies and investigate variances
• Coordinate stock availability with sales and delivery teams
• Prepare and maintain reports related to stock status and movements
• Support compliance requirements, audits, and internal controls
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate stock updates

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or automotive administration highly regarded
• High attention to detail and strong accuracy skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Automotive or dealership experience preferred but not essential
• Current driver’s licence
