New Vehicle Assistant Manager

About the Role

Aspley Hyundai are seeking an experienced and driven New Vehicle Assistant Sales Manager to support the leadership of our new vehicle sales department.

Working closely with the New Vehicle Sales Manager, this role plays a key part in driving sales performance, coaching and developing the sales team, and ensuring customers receive an exceptional buying experience.

This opportunity is ideal for a high‑performing Senior Sales Consultant or Assistant Manager ready to take the next step in their leadership career within a high‑volume dealership environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the New Vehicle Sales Manager with day‑to‑day sales operations
• Coach, mentor, and assist with the development of the sales team
• Drive enquiry conversion, sales performance, and customer satisfaction
• Assist with stock management, pricing strategies, and vehicle availability
• Ensure the sales process is followed and dealership standards are maintained
• Support reporting, forecasting, and achievement of sales targets
• Work collaboratively with finance, delivery, and service teams to ensure smooth handovers

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in automotive sales with leadership exposure
• Strong understanding of the new vehicle sales process
• Ability to lead by example and positively influence team performance
• Excellent communication, organisation, and negotiation skills
• Results‑driven mindset with a strong customer‑focused approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
• Current driver’s licence
