New Vehicle Assistant Manager

About the Role

Torque Toyota Albion are seeking an experienced and driven New Vehicle Assistant Sales Manager to support the leadership of our new vehicle sales department. This role plays a key part in driving performance, coaching the sales team, and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional buying experience.

This opportunity is ideal for a high‑performing Senior Sales Consultant or Assistant Manager looking to step into a formal leadership role within a high‑volume Toyota dealership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting management with daily sales operations
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the development of the sales team
• Driving enquiry conversion, sales performance, and guest satisfaction
• Assisting with stock management, pricing, and vehicle availability
• Ensuring the new vehicle sales process meets Toyota and dealership standards
• Supporting reporting, forecasting, and achievement of sales targets
• Working collaboratively with finance, service, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handovers

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in automotive sales with leadership or senior sales exposure
• Strong understanding of the new vehicle sales process
• Ability to lead by example and influence team performance
• Excellent communication, organisation, and negotiation skills
• Results‑driven mindset with a strong guest‑focused approach
• Current driver’s licence
